Church "St. Paraskeva" - village of Pchelarovo

The church is popular among the population as "St. Petka". Two architectural periods can be outlined in its construction- from 1886 and 1893.There are 6 icons of The Father,The Son,The Holly Spirit and the Virgin Mary arranged according to the canon. The Orthodox Saints are represented by 20 icons. The Iconostasis, the icons, the bishop"s throne and church plate are typical of small rural churches. The belfry tower is typical of Orthodox churches - a 6-wall dome with a cross on round columns. There is an old monastic school and a big drinking water fountain near the church, close to which there are traces of a small chapel.
