Pontiac marriage in Zygos

Rating:
(0)
An old custom which was not altered by the time, since it is rooted in the hearts of mice, revived every year at Zugos village in Kavala. A representation of the Pontic marriage, a "marriage" that symbolizes the beginning of life and spring. Dancing and music bands give their own color to the traditional wedding while guests savor the Pontiac food "keskek" and give best wishes to the newlyweds. Held on the first Sunday after Easter.
