Monument of Haskovo Revival men

The original monument is work of the architect Angel Radev and the sculptor Mr. Tonev - Guspata. On the north wall of the twenty-foot granite column bearing the names of 72 Revival men of Haskovo. The eastern beautiful metal plate depicts a bird in flight feather and the first letters of the Bulgarian alphabet, which are a symbol of literature and knowledge. On the south side is written brief but imbued with patriotism text that expresses gratitude and the gratitude of future generations of Haskovo contribution to the European Renaissance spirituality.
